| MERISTEM or Mobilizing Equity to Raise Inclusivity in STEM is the University of Denver’s NSF Advance grant program. The goal is to increase the hiring, retention and of faculty from historically excluded groups, and to improve their experience at the University of Denver by making changes to the campus climate. - Created the website for a new NSF grant-supported program:
- Researched communications efforts by existing ADVANCE grant programs and developed a communications plan for the website including determining target SEO keywords and how they would be incorporated throughout the site.
- Managed website creation and stakeholder feedback processes.
- Crafted site map, wrote all content, designed and built the 10-page mobile-responsive site on DU’s existing Drupal platform, following brand standards.
- Filmed, edited and produced a promotional video to introduce program’s plans to improve diversity, equity and inclusion in STEM fields at DU.
- Wrote multiple pieces in support of College of Natural Science and Mathematics priorities in a variety of styles, including feature articles and ghostwriting for a senior College administrator.
